Pierce Multisensory Lesson Plan

(Hybrid Educational Transdisciplinary Team – HETT)

How to Use This Template

This checklist supports HETT by:

Providing data for progress monitoring that can be used across disciplines.
Encouraging all professionals (OT, PT, SLP, Teacher, Parent) to plan together.
Reducing duplication by embedding therapy goals within classroom activities.
Ensuring lessons naturally integrate sensory systems to support inclusive, workload- based practice.

Multisensory Integration

Tip: Each lesson does not need all senses, but incorporating multiple systems supports diverse learners. Use this chart to plan together and ensure your lesson aligns with student goals, IDEA/IEP standards, and HETT workload-based practice.
